Hi, my name is Nick. I am a senior at LIU Post studying digital art & design. I have over four years of experience in the the adobe suite, being most proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, XD and After Effects. I love the work that I do and welcome any opportunity to be creative.
The objective of this project was to design a menu for a real or fictitious restaurant. I decided to design a menu for a mock Japanese restaurant. I love minimalist designs and approached this project with that in mind. I wanted a clean, simple look, almost as if you are in a high end establishment and I believe I achieved my goal.

The mian covers for this project features Vanity Fair, but I included GQ and Men's Health for variety and to experiment with different layout, typography, and imagery(Made in Photoshop and Indesign)
Fahrenheit 451 Book Jacket
This design is inspired by the dark themes of the story. The dark background mixed with the fire embers and the hidden identity of the fireman adds to the dystopian feel of the story. On the back features popular quotes as well as press reviews. The inside tabs also feature a quick summary of the story as well as an author bio.(Made in Illustrator & Indesign)

Gesture Logo
New company logo I designed for the company I interned at called Gesture. The original logo had a multitude of problems and they approached me to come up with a solution. This logo captures the personality and mission of the company better than their previous logo. It's fun, modern, and captures the core values of Gesture; Easy. Fast. On-Demand.

Gesture for Vendor Pamphlet
Pamphlet design for my internship. The goal of this project was to make a pamphlet that gives an overview of what the company does and attract local business/vendors to our company, showing how the company works, how other business use it and the benefits. The pamphlet is for digital distribution, but can also become a physical, printed booklet.

Glitch Portrait
This is a personal project I made experimenting with the RGB channels in Photoshop mixed with the marquee tool, giving it a retro tv glitch effect with added illustrated shapes.
MAYA 3D Room
These images feature multiple angles of renders of a living room and kitchen I built in MAYA. To put this room together, I used different techniques within the program to build each asset by and and apply texture map to create a full rendered environment.
SimpleFit App Design
This is a few screens that showcases a mock fitness app called SimpleFit. For this app, my goal was to make an interactive, fun, and simple fitness app. Features include a social profile, shop, GPS tracking system, group followings, and workout videos ranging from beginner to experienced.The graphics were made in Illustrator then brought into Adobe XD, where they were prototyped and tested by my professor for user experience.(Made in Illustrator & XD)
Voyager Travel App
The goal of this app was to create an innovated application. The concept behind my app was to make an all-in-one travel app. Most Travel apps are used primarily for booking flights or hotel and you have to go online or download another app for different features. This app takes all those features and combines it into one, efficient and user friendly experience. The app includes the standard booking of hotels and flights, but also includes a calendar, transportation section, local trips and excursions, itinerary planning board, local forecast, current balance and currency conversion, and more.(Made in Illustrator & XD)
3D Product Design
Product design built and rendered in MAYA. The simple logo and label was designed in illustrator and texture mapped usuing Photoshop. Each images shows different angles of the render to showcase the tea product with other similar objects related to to product itself. (Made in MAYA)
